Nurturing Threads

I have these friends with a WAHM dyeing business.... their stuff is seriously, utterly beautiful. You know me, I love to throw around adjectives (a lot)... but the words that come to my mind when looking at their yarn and fiber are.... luscious....delicious....juicy.....scrumdidlyumptious... and O.M.G love!..... these ladies have a serious handle on color. The base yarns and fibers they dye are top notch quality... and this superfine merino I am spinning is so oober soft it is almost addictive.
These ladies have 11 children between the two of them which in itself is pretty amazing. Like a lot of indie dyers their stuff is not always in stock so you have to wait for it to come available, but I think it is well worth the wait.
The colors speak for themselves....
check them out!

they also have a ravelry group which is a good way to keep up with stockings, see colorways and what other people have made with their yarn...

Since I am on the topic of yarn... I should share with you the rainbows that leapt from my imagination onto this wool stripping.... Something about summer makes me want to work with bright vivid colors, I didn't give this pendleton wool stripping a second glance when I passed it in my LYS.... that is until a strip of it was included in the dye class I took....So I bought all of it.... brought it home and skeined it.....

and this is what came about....I haven't decided whether it will be a rug, or a shaggy knit comfort shawl...

I'm sure you knew I would geek out over that rainbowy goodness!!!! Oh my sooo Seeing it reminds me that I need to pop on Ravelry and see if you've written me back. haha. I've been a bit preoccupied lately, sorry for that, but I'm sure with 4 babes of your own, you understand. =)

p.s. Got any good labor tips? As in what can I do to jump start my labor? My ob already gave me permission. =)
